Child protection
Child protection programme – the historic pillar of Foyer Lataste
Foyer Lataste offers a human-scale living space where around thirty vulnerable children can grow up in safety. For children aged 4 to 12, care is provided in 2 Family Houses on the Foyer’s site, managed by foster mothers, to allow them to grow in a warm, family-like environment. For secondary school students aged 13 to 17, young people are housed in the single-sex boarding facility at Foyer Lataste.

From school to university
All children at the home, as well as those supported within the local community, are enrolled in local schools, from primary school through to secondary school. The association covers school fees, supplies and uniforms.
Beneficiaries then go on to university studies or pursue vocational training. In this context, the association continues to support them by providing allowances, student housing assistance and funding for their studies.
- 1 Primary & Secondary - 100% funded schooling, daily academic support
- 2 Upper Secondary & Bac - preparation for the Bac and career guidance
- 3 Higher Education & Training - scholarship and support for higher studies and vocational training leading to business start-up grants
